I stumbled on Drupal on june 2010, at the same time when I put up my own company, focusing on web-development, web-systems and integrations.
I've been a professional software developer since 2001 @ PRESENTOR (http://www.presentor.fi), focusing mainly on the Adobe-platforms, but also built about a dozen web-projects utilizing Apache, PHP and PostgreSQL/SQLite/MySQL.
Drupal was a real found, because I had some foolish-brave plans on creating my own web-CMS, pulling previous experience from a non-web presentation CMS I've built and maintained since 2003, using mainly Adobe Flash/Director.

Campbell has been a geek for longer than he cares to remember. His experience with Open Source goes back at least 10 years, and his time with Drupal about 5. This Open Source Evangelist is extremely serious. How serious you ask?
He obtained a PhD in theoretic Quantum Physics (aka stuff only he understands) But then Dries 'Drupal' Buytaert asked him for DRUPAL.be - and Roel said yes.

Known for his communication skills and no-nonsense style (make it work - and keep it running) he comes up with solutions for problems the client has never even thought of. He also provides all Krew members with shoulder taps and weekly massages. After all, Drupal is about sharing, isn't it?

I'm a project manager and also do a fair bit of information architecture. I used to want to be an urban planner, and even got a masters degree in human geography, but then I discovered the Drupal, and that was all over. I started building web software professionally back in 1995 and have experienced many different technologies, ways of building sites and companies along the way. With a lot of previous experience in building online communities Drupal came into my attention in 2004 and I built my first sites using it.
