I stumbled on Drupal on june 2010, at the same time when I put up my own company, focusing on web-development, web-systems and integrations.
I've been a professional software developer since 2001 @ PRESENTOR (http://www.presentor.fi), focusing mainly on the Adobe-platforms, but also built about a dozen web-projects utilizing Apache, PHP and PostgreSQL/SQLite/MySQL.
Drupal was a real found, because I had some foolish-brave plans on creating my own web-CMS, pulling previous experience from a non-web presentation CMS I've built and maintained since 2003, using mainly Adobe Flash/Director.
Marcel Ritsema is the proud owner of Helpermedia and started his own business after many years in ICT. During the years various functions and challenges came across his path. It al started in 1996 as functional tester at an organization which takes care of financing students. After a year Marcel started to work for G&D (now called Sogeti) as a software developer. After an intense training period he was assigned to KPN a nationwide dutch telecom operator for almost two years. Wanting to move on Marcel switched to Atos Orgin.
