OSInet

Start in 1993 around AIX and Solaris support, OSInet has been focusing on Drupal since version 4.6, and providing consulting and training services since Drupal 5. We started delivering custom-level code on the evolving Drupal 7 code in late 2009, and maintaining it along with the development of core.

OSInet contributed several modules to drupal.org on the way, while leading development on the social network for major french newspaper Le Figaro web site in 2009-2010, successfully tackling issues of performance on such a site designed to be used mostly by authenticated users (Alexa web rank for LeFigaro: 1318).

In the same vein, in 2010 OSInet provided performance and audit services for the launch of national public radio site France Culture, as well as after-launch consulting on the same topics for daily newspaper site France Soir, and was the driving force behind the successul relaunch of France.FR in august 2010.

OSInet also caters to lower-profile sites, when they offer an technical challenge, like the "Copy on write" techniques for Drupal per-user customized books on Drupal 7. We have been active in the community, participating in the RDF in Core code sprint in Dublin (2009), providing free training sessions on our premises as well as during multiple Drupal Meetups and Drupal Camps in France, as well as the single 4-hour sessions of Views development training at DrupalCon Paris 2009, and still contributing some core patches, and helping maintain some contributed modules, most visibly Advanced Help, CCK (D7 version of nodereference), Devel, and MongoDB.
