Maybe next time it would be a good idea to colorcode the badges, according to the 'Drupal focus' you have to enter in your profile information. A bit like how the sessions were colorcoded.

Additionally, the icons for the sessions could be used on the badges as well. A cap wearing Druplicon for a Themer, a baby Druplicon for people who have just started with Drupal, a Druplicon in a suit for people who are more on the business side, etc ..
