I like the slanty stuff :-) Realise it is not for everyone but it's fun and a conference website for a techy community like this is the right place to try it stuff like this.
ok so for anyone else who, likes me, feels their eyes go all funny and a migraine coming on when they have to read slanty text, or for anyone who's just finding it looks silly, stick this in your Firefox userContent.css:
And to the designers: when something starts to become LESS usable, you've gone too far. And fix the layout bugs before you play with your CSS3, perhaps?
Some bits of it work and some bits don't. I think it's novel for a Drupalcon site to take this iterative approach, and I like it. I like the fact that the site's evolving, and I'd hope that where CSS3 has gone too far, the site will evolve it away eventually. Right?
I was surprised the optical illusion is so strong. After looking at the pages with the images and text slanted, I go back to a "normal" page and they look slanted! It's amazing how resistant the mind is.

Although... maybe after a while I do have to work out which bits are rotated and which aren't, and my head goes a bit like this dog's: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/07/dog.html
